Description:
Pine Mountain Campground is a very nice campground shaded by tall pines. The campsite is located 41/2 miles east of Highway 33 on Pine Mountain Road 6N06 and a 1/2 mile west of Reyes Peak Campground. No Flush toilets or water sources are available at this remote car campground.
Across the road from the camp is the Boulder Canyon Trail 23W42 trail head. If you go another three miles east to the end of the Pine Mountain Road, you will find the trail head for the Reyes Peak Trail, you can take this trail to Haddock Camp, if you continue on this trail further it eventually intersect with the Gene Marshall Piedra Blanca Trail 23W02.

Pine Mountain Campground Survey - 08-24-2024 - by Anonymous SurveyorLink: Pine Mountain Campground Date: 08-24-2024 Surveyor Name: Anonymous Surveyor Camp Description: Fantastic time camping here and bouldering--peaceful and beautiful. The campground itself was very clean but the outhouse could have used a bit of cleaning. Plenty of firewood could be collected here as of visit date. Road to the campground was clear and boulders were just a 5 min walk away. More bouldering easily accessible 4 min drive up the road to Reyes.
