No matches? No lighter? No flint? No magnifying glass? No problem... a tiny bit of gasoline soaked napkin and a backpacking stove's igniter spark!

Date: 08-23-2015
Surveyor Name:Hike Los Padres
Camp Description:This campground is in great shape, the camp hosts keep the place in good condition, no trash anywhere to be seen, also the camp hosts clean the bathroom a few times a day, I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed this campground very much. The lack water could be a problem for some, make sure to bring all water you will need for your stay. The area is great for mountain biking, hiking, and spending some time in the pine forest.
Water Source:Dry
Water Source Details:No potable water available, camp is dry.
Weather Conditions:Warm ~ 80 F
Mc Gill Campground Survey - 06-03-2015 - by Bob Hamber
Link: Mc Gill Campground
Date: 06-03-2015
Surveyor Name:Bob Hamber
Camp Description:Other than the campground host, we were the only ones there on a Tue and Wed night with a full moon.  The grasses are still green, Plenty of pine cones, but no downed wood for fire, which are still allowed in the campfire rings.  The fire rings have an inner grate for good air flow, and a flip on/off grate for cooking. Some sites have old wooden tables, but they are being replaced with cement ones. Nicely spaced sites, but many don't have level sleeping spots. Some sites are marked as having the best level parking for RVs.  At least one wheelchair accessible site. Two large group sites. Cinderblock restrooms.  20$ a night.
Water Source:Dry
Water Source Details:I only checked on water faucet. Maybe other's have water, but I doubt it.
Weather Conditions:Clear. 50F at night.
