Kings Campground Survey - 12-02-2012 - by Hike Los Padres
Link: Kings Campground
Date: 12-02-2012
Surveyor Name:Hike Los Padres
Camp Description:Kings camp is in great shape. About 5 campsites at this location with one bathroom that has seen better days, a couple tables around some of the camping sites. This area is closed to Motorcycles in the winter time, Great starting point  to explore the Los Padres. I noticed that some of the people have been breaking through the fencing to make short cuts to the trails. All in all, just great times at Kings Camp.
Water Source:Dry
Water Source Details:No water source at camp, but down the road a bit more to Gold Hill and use Piru creek
Weather Conditions:Cold at night, snow on the ground in the shade areas.
