First Crossing is dayuse area, believe it or not, just before the first crossing of the Santa Ynez River.  The gate is located just beyond the Parks Management parking kiosk and provides access to Upper Oso, Red Rocks and the other treasures up along River Road.  Paradise Rd transitions to River Rd at the First Crossing gate as well.
