Cliff Camp Survey - 06-16-2024 - by Paul Muhl

Surveyor Name:Paul Muhl
Camp Description:I want to love this camp more and the actual location is fantastic with excellent views all around, but the camp itself is barely-there and covered in deep grass. It's the only place on my hike this weekend that a tick found its way onto my leg and I was walking in deep grass hour after hour for a couple of days up and down the river. So... I spent the night here but put my sleeping pad on the sand down near the creek with the frogs and crickets and bubbling water.

Cliff Camp Survey - 11-24-2019 - by Paul Cronshaw

Date: 11-24-2019
Surveyor Name:Paul Cronshaw
Camp Description:This camp is easy to miss.  Look for the single oak tree snag.  A  working LPFA vacation has cleared a high route that brings the trail into close proximity with the campsite.  Look for the pink ribbons that mark the turnoff for the campsite.

There are some makeshift benches, one of them is supported by an old propane tank.  There is water in the Sisquoc River.

I enjoyed camping here. It was very quiet. No bugs. The winter sun lights up this camp early in the morning.
