Trail description:	Drove from Old Sierra Madre Rd/Forest Rd 32S13 to Cottonwood Canyon Rd in a Nissan Sentra without problems. Had to stop several times to move large rocks from the road. 10 mph average speed. Would NOT recommend traveling this route in a low clearance vehicle to anyone without extensive off road driving experience.

Trail description:	Drove from Hwy. 166 to Sierra Madre Road and back today.  Road was in good shape. Hunting season is open and I passed a bunch of vehicles on my trip up and down. I didn't see any water in the creek or anywhere else up there.

Trail description:	Bates Canyon Road CLOSED and impassable due to Winter rains earlier this year.  Road has washed out.  You can walk in, but no vehicles. Bates Camp is accessible from Highway 166.  USFS told me unknown when road will be fixed.
