Terrace Creek is the first camp located on the very popular (sometimes overrun) Pine Ridge Trail. The camp is amongst some spectacular redwoods at the junction of the Terrace Creek Trail and the Pine Ridge Trail. Most people hiking through here are on their way to Sykes Hot Spring. Sykes camp can be very very crowded, it is encouraged that backpackers stay at other sites and access Sykes camp as part of a day trip.

Camp Description: | This camp is beautiful and has two toilets (one very up high that puts you a bit on display and another that is just to the right of one of the camp spots on the other side of the creek that is much more private). The creek is flowing nicely and the camp spots are lovely! Saw other backpackers, but most wer headed to Sykes so we had the whole camp area to ourselves for two nights. |
