Camp Description:The trail into Mocho camp from Cold Springs Camp is a bit overgrown in a couple areas but it is definitely passable. I was wearing shorts and picked up a couple ticks on the way into camp, I was able to brush them off before they bit. Water is plentiful near Mocho camp, it is a small clearing with flat areas where a tent can be pitched. I didn't go further than the first clearing so it's possible there are other areas nearby that are campable. The crickets were rather loud at night. There are plenty of tall trees nearby suitable for a solid bear bag hang.
Water Source:Flowing
Water Source Details:There are multiple small flowing streams near Mocho Camp, including one right next to the marker
Weather Conditions:Warm and humid, even early in the morning
