Camp Description: | First time, great trail in good shape to the Springs. Â Great morning hike, alternating shade and exposed. Good tread except in two spots. Great to go thru strands of infant, juvenile and established groves of sugar pine...making our way thru sandstone gardens with great views. Â The trail impels you to keep going to the next turn and view. Don't realized the steepness of the trail til you go down. Shade was the Savior on this record hot day...nice pool to cool down at the bridge. For more historical information look up Tim Bottoms youtube on his ranch. |
